## Founder

Dan Grinnell brings a rare combination of regulatory rigor and practical implementation to AI adoption. As a former Cal/OSHA inspector turned corporate EHS Manager at Medtronic, he understands what "defensible" actually means when documentation gets scrutinized. His experience at Cruise, the autonomous vehicle company, shaped his view that AI adoption must be treated as seriously as any other safety hazard.

Dan currently chairs the AIHA AI Committee and has educated 300+ safety professionals on AI fundamentals and responsible adoption. He authored the Defensible AI Playbook for EHS Professionals—a practical framework built on ISO 42001 and NIST AI RMF foundations.
